To participate in the C52 design contest, you must become a member.
If you are already a member, login to your account for design submission details.
(once logged in…) To participate, follow the list of guidelines below... then upload your design*.
- Download your Custom 52 Template Pack (1.27Mb)
- Design your playing card in high resolution (300 dpi or better) in CMYK.
FINAL ARTWORK SIZE: 1.38" x 2.8" (300 dpi)
(414 pixels x 840 pixels at 300 dpi) You may use vector art, raster art, photography, etc. etc.
- You will upload your final high resolution artwork along with the screen version built with our template.
- Next, resize your artwork to 200x406 pixels at 72 dpi and place it into the template of the card you have selected. Save the image as a jpg in RGB format somewhere on your computer. This is the image you will upload after logging into your Custom 52 user account.
- Your design MUST relate to the card you are submitting for - we are strict on this.
- Your name and design title will appear on the final print so make sure you enter them exactly as you would like them to read.
- Your design must not contain copyrighted material or be "overly" offensive.
- Judging: the custom52 team will prejudge all submissions before posting for design quality. Not all entries will be published on the custom52 website.
- Custom 52 will post a notice when we have enough submissions to begin the voting process and when the contest is coming to a close. Join our Newsletter to be notified of the custom playing card design contest closing dates, voting dates and how to buy your very own deck of custom playing cards! p.s. custom52 will never ever sell, distribute or misuse your email address in any way, shape or form.
- DO NOT re-submit entries from previous cycles.
* By uploading your design, you agree that Custom 52 may use said design in the printing and distribution of Custom 52 playing cards, promotions and merchandise. C52 will not resell your artwork in any other way or to any other distributor. Artwork remains the property of the designer – you own your art. We will make every effort to protect the rights of the artists.
